A romantic first look

The day kicked off at St. Eugene with Shannon and her girls getting ready. The room was full of excitement as hair and makeup wrapped up and her dress hung, just waiting for its big moment. Meanwhile, Sam was just as excited to see Shannon, he had Stella with him, his beloved car, right there with him. It was such a fun and personal touch that showed just how much she means to him.

Their first look happened on the grand staircase at St. Eugene, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Shannon walked down slowly, her dress flowing beautifully, while Sam waited at the bottom with Stella by his side. The whole scene felt straight out of a romantic movie !!

Ceremony at Horseshoe Lake

After a beautiful first look, we made our way to Horseshoe Lake for the ceremony and to get some formal photos. The setting was breathtaking, surrounded by water, with the summer sun glowing above. The heat was real that day, but nothing could take away from the magic of this moment. Shannon and Sam exchanged vows with their closest people watching, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.

After the ceremony, everyone headed back to St. Eugene for the dreamiest dinner setup under the trees. A long table stretched out with twinkling lights and gorgeous décor — it honestly felt like something out of a fairytale. Guests settled in, and it had that cozy, “no one wants to leave” kind of vibe.

The speeches were a rollercoaster of emotions — so much laughter, plenty of happy tears, and the sweetest stories that showed just how loved Shannon and Sam really are. And then came one of the moments I’ll never forget: Shannon’s dad pulled out his harmonica and played. The music filled the air in the most heartfelt way, and I swear there wasn’t a dry eye around (including mine!).
