Ellen & Jasper’s Intimate Summer Wedding in Windermere, BC

Ellen and Jasper’s wedding day was simple, heartfelt, and full of so much love.

Their celebration took place in the heart of the Columbia Valley, starting with a sweet first look. Ellen and Jasper chose to see each other before the ceremony, surrounded by their closest friends — a quiet moment filled with joy, nerves, and a few happy tears. The bridal party watched on, sharing in the emotion of it all. The sun was high, the sky was clear, and the summer heat wrapped around everyone like a warm embrace.

The ceremony was held in the iconic Stolen Church in Windermere — a tiny white chapel full of character and history. It’s one of those spots you drive past and can’t help but stare at. Inside, the love between these two lit up the room. The vows were personal and meaningful, with just close family and friends gathered to witness the moment they officially became husband and wife.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Radium Hot Springs Centre, where laughter, dancing, and good food carried the evening. Ellen and Jasper opened the night with their first dance, and from that moment on, the energy didn’t slow down. This group knew how to party — no one sat still for long! The dance floor was alive, and it stayed that way well into the night, with everyone up on their feet, dancing like it was the only thing that mattered.

From start to finish, their day was full of connection, laughter, and so much heart. Get a little taste of their ceremony with the following photos.

If you’re dreaming of an intimate wedding with just your people, this is your sign that small doesn’t mean less — it often means more.
