Some sessions just leave your heart full — and Lauren and Seamus’ engagement shoot was definitely one of them.

We met up just outside of Invermere, BC for their session during golden hour, and wow — did nature show off for us. The sun dipped perfectly behind the pines, casting the dreamiest glow across the hills. But honestly? The real magic was right in front of my camera: two incredibly kind souls and their beautiful golden retriever, Hale.

Hale stole the show (and my heart) within the first five minutes. This fluffy ball of love was all smiles, tail wags, and kisses — clearly over the moon to be part of the action. Watching Lauren and Seamus interact with her and each other made it so easy to capture genuine moments.

These two have such a calm and gentle energy about them. You can feel the love they share just by being near them — the kind of love that’s rooted in deep friendship and shared joy. Whether they were snuggled up on the grass, chasing Hale around, or just soaking in the last light of day, they made my job effortless.
