Mo & Nana – A Soulful Autumn Connection Session in Fairmont Hot Springs

Some sessions feel less like work and more like a quiet poem being written in real time.

Mo & Nana’s fall family connection session wasn’t just about photos—it was about presence, love, and the unspoken strength of motherhood. Friends visiting all the way from Tahiti, they brought with them that island ease and warmth, blending effortlessly into the golden tones of autumn here in Fairmont Hot Springs.

This session was deeply personal for me. Mo and Nana are close friends, and having them here fwas magical. Mo is  my tattoo artist, the one who’s marked many meaningful moments of my own story on my skin. So to be able to document a piece of his story meant the world to me.

We set out to capture something raw and intimate—an ode to motherhood in its most natural form. Nana, barefoot and glowing in the fall light, held her baby girl with a quiet strength. It wasn’t posed or polished—it was real, honest, powerful.

Surrounded by the crisp air, and the slow rhythm of fall, we leaned into softness. No forced poses, just moments unfolding naturally.. This session was as much about motherhood as it was about heritage, spirit, and belonging.

And if you ever find yourself traveling to Tahiti (which I highly recommend), make sure to check out Mo’s tattoo work  and Nana’s tattoo work. Their artistry is incredible—bold, soulful, and deeply rooted in Polynesian culture. Trust me, you’ll want to carry a piece of it with you forever.

Thank you, Mo & Nana, for trusting me with this chapter. I’ll hold it close always.
