Spring vibe and Green Grass for this beautiful Engagement Session in Fairmont Hot Springs BC | Claire & Jacob
Oh my gosh, I have to tell you about this amazing engagement session I just did with Claire and Jacob!
You know how sometimes you meet a couple and can just feel that they’re meant to be together? That was totally the vibe with these two! From the moment I met them, their connection was so genuine and sweet; it felt like they were living in their own little love bubble.

The green grass was vibrant and alive, making everything feel fresh and romantic.

A little more about this session…
You know those couples who just radiate love? The ones who make you feel like you’re witnessing something truly special? That’s exactly how it felt photographing Claire and Jacob. From the very first moment I met them, it was obvious—they’re one of those couples who just fit. Their connection is sweet, genuine, and full of playful energy that’s impossible not to smile at.
For their engagement session, we decided on a springtime vibe, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The Columbia Valley was showing off that day—the grass was lush and vibrant, tiny blooms were just starting to pop, and the light had that warm, golden glow that makes everything feel magical. Spring is all about fresh beginnings, and it felt like the perfect setting for this next chapter of their love story.
What I loved most about Claire and Jacob was how natural they were together. They laughed, teased, and played around the whole time, slipping easily into their own little world. Those raw, candid moments are my favorite to capture—the ones that show the real side of love. Not posed or forced, but the kind of joy you want to remember forever.
Every turn of the valley gave us a new backdrop that felt straight out of a dream. Whether we were surrounded by rolling green hills, colorful blossoms, or the wide-open mountain views, these two brought the magic. And that’s exactly what I want every session to be about—capturing the authentic emotions, the belly laughs, the quiet moments, and everything in between.
Claire and Jacob’s wedding day is still ahead, but their engagement session already told a beautiful story of who they are as a couple. And honestly? If their wedding is anything like this session, it’s going to be unforgettable.

Engagement sessions like Claire and Jacob’s are a beautiful reminder of why I love photographing in Invermere, Cranbrook, Banff, and the Columbia Valley. When love and nature meet, the result is always magic.
