Valentine’s Day Wedding in Invermere BC | Jordanna and Derek

There’s something truly magical about celebrating love on Valentine’s Day, and Jordanna and Derek’s wedding was proof of that. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they chose an intimate indoor ceremony that felt warm, cozy, and full of love.

From the moment I arrived, their sweet, kind-hearted energy was impossible to miss. Every glance, every laugh, every quiet moment between them radiated a genuine connection, the kind of love that makes you believe in soulmates, honestly !

After their beautiful ceremony, we captured some lovely indoor portraits and as if the day wasn’t already perfect, a gentle visitor made a surprise appearance.. a deer wandered in the yeard, adding a touch of magic and serenity to their day. Moments like these remind you how connected weddings can feel to nature and the world around us.

Then we went outside down on the frozen Columbia Lake. The sun lit everything in the most perfect golden glow, reflecting off the ice and highlighting the happiness on their faces. It was one of those rare moments where light, location, and love align perfectly !! Truly a photographer’s dream !

Jordanna and Derek’s wedding wasn’t about grand gestures or large crowds; it was about connection, warmth, and celebrating love in its purest form. Their day was intimate, joyful, and filled with the kind of tender moments that stay with you long after the wedding day ends.
